Member of the House of Representatives and Founder of NairaBet, Akin Alabi has revealed that he still asked his mother for little sums of money as a 24-year-old man.


He made the revelation on Twitter. Alabi claimed that as a 24-year-old man, he still relied on his mother for N100.

He made this known when reacting to the statement of a Twitter user, @Harryolah who shamed men that are struggling and still broke at 24.

"You've failed as a guy, if you're still broke at 24." the Twitter user wrote.

Then Akin Alabi replied via his handle @akinalabi ; “What kind of nonsense is this, this early morning? At 24, I still relied on my mother to give me as little as N100.”
